Awhile ago i decided to attempt to make an adirondack chair for Emily's birthday present. It turned out to be a much bigger project than I had anticipated.
I realized I didn't really have adequate tools for the job or the proper experience but it came out better than expected and I was surprisingly happy with the experience and finished product.
I believe it was a successful birthday gift and it is now in Emily's bedroom in her new apartment in New Haven. After delivering it to her house I have received several orders for more from her grandparents. I'm not sure if I'm ready to become a chair factory quite yet but its always something to think about doing on a lonely weekend.
